Viewing stereograms or magiceye from the computer screen is a little more difficult then when on a printed piece of paper. The printed piece does not have to be in color. When you have the image on a piece of paper hold the image right up to your nose and try to look right through the image, the image will be blurry. Start moving the page slowly away from your face. As you do this the two training cirlces on top of the image will come together and magically when you move your eyes down to the image a 3D imae will appear.
To view side by side images in 3D you will have to perfect one or both of the techniques. The two different methods are cross-eyed viewing and parallel viewing.
In cross-eyed viewing the "o" and the "+" are the two images of the photo pair. To view these cross-eyed touch one of your fingers up to the screen between the two images. While you are staring at the tip of your finger slowly bring your finger back toward your face and you should notice in the background that the "+" and the "0" are moving towards each other. At one point the "+" will appear to be inside the "0". Try to memorize the feeling and move your finger away from the screen while keeping the + inside the 0.
Viewing parallel vision is basically the same as viewing magiceye. Start with your face close to the screen so that the + is already inside the 0 and slowly back away until it becomes 3D.
Caution! If you experience eye fatigue or discomfort, take a break.
